Bonnie traced a finger across the bark of a tree, leaving against the thick trunk. She nibbled on her lower lip and stared into the forest. Her hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail, the red ringlets reaching her shoulder blades. A grey tube top hugged her slim frame, legs clothed in black skinny jeans. Her feet were bare, toes wriggling in the soft grass. She sighted softly, glancing up at a familiar hoot. Griffith, her snow white barn owl, flew above in a circle before landing on her shoulder. He pressed his cool beak against her warm flesh. She smiled and giggled, petting his stuff feathers. "Griffith." She murmured softly, sighing.
