Waiting. ((Open))

"Honestly, I only came to see you," he chuckled, tilting his head and smiling at her. He nodded and rolled his eyes once again. "Good to see that Draco is upholding the Malfoy name." He murmured sarcastically, moving his hand from her back to grab a drink. He gulped it down before filling his cup once again. He was going to need to drink alot to be able to enjoy this party. His eyes flashed as he gazed around the room, taking in all of the guests.

Desdemona blushed a little and then said, "You look dashing tonight. At least there's someone dancing," she indicated the redheaded girl and scruffy-looking boy rotating around the dance floor. She took another sip of her drink, wondering if she might be able to get anything stronger for the night. It was supposed to be a party, after all.

His cheeks took on a slight rosey hue and he grinned. "Why, thank you." His eyes moved over her frame, encased in a lovely blood red gown, appreciation flickering behind his eyes. "You look great in red," He cocked his head to the side a bit and blinked, following her gaze to the two dancing. He pursed his lips before sipping at his drink.

Draco finally decided to rejoin the party. He was followed by a house elf and several floating platters with every sort of food you could imagine. The platters floated over to the empty table next to the drinks and he sighed. A firmiliar sight had caught his attention and he growled inwardly. It was Guyver, with some woman he assumed to be Desdemona. Marious had spoke of them. His favored cousin had even locked himself up in his room and refused to come out the moment he sensed his brother. Draco shoved his hands into his pockets, glancing over at the tables. Merlin, Harry was sitting there. His cheeks flushed a dusty pink and he couldnt tear his gaze away from the raven haired boy. The corners of his mouth twitched up into a smirk as he followed the boys gaze over to the Weasley's, Ginny was standing beside them. Draco snickered, god he couldnt stand that weaselette. His eyes finally darted over to the corner. A very pale looking boy was huddled up over there, he looked quite nervous. Draco took a few steps towards him, smiling awkwardly. He wondered why the boy was in the corner, he had his reasons no doubt. He would wait for the chap to notice him before getting any closer.

"Why, thank you. It took me a long time to decide on this one." Desdemona sipped her drink as she spoke, glad that she had decided on this dress. "Oh, look, there's your cousin." Desdemona's voice had a note of teasing in it, though she did notice how the blond boy blushed when he looked at Harry.

Harry smiled weakly, she really didnt know him. For some reason that fact was comforting. "Harry, Harry Potter. It's nice to meet you." his smile widened a bit. Feeling eyes on him he glanced over in time to see Draco blush and look away. His own cheeks flushed a rather rosy color as his breath hitched. Was he...staring? Harry gripped the bottom of his dress shirt, glancing back up at the girl, hoping she hadnt seen any of that.

Bonnie raised an eyebrow, noticing what had gone on between Draco and Harry. She nibbled on her lower lip and offered a weak smile, brow knitting together. She tilted her head and cleared her throat. "No need to be embarrassed. Same thing happens to me whenever I see him. He just doesn't have that reaction back." Her eyes shifted, taking on a bright yellow color, her hair turning white. She wrinkled her nose and fiddled with her glass of butterbeer before lifting it to get lips and taking a sip.

Guyver lifted an eyebrow and glanced up in time to see his cousin look at the Potter boy and blush. He chuckled a bit and turned his attention back to Desdemona. How pathetic. He thought to himself, lifting his glass and showing his butterbeer with a grimace. "Don't they have anything stronger?" He complained, pursing his lips in frustration.

Helena entered the large room, blinking nervously. No Marious in sight. But she did catch sight of his brother and the nice woman that they had meet at the in. She nibbled on her lower lip and moved to stand alone against a wall. Her dress trailed slightly behind her, a mass of silver fabric. The corset that made up the top of the dress was black with silver glitter sprinkled over it. She wore black strap heels that added about for inches to her height. Her hair feel in brunette waves over her shoulders, a black bow pinned nearly to the back of her head. She sighted softly and fiddled nervously with the ring on her middle finger.

Elena took one last look in the mirror before leaving the lavatory. Her dress had been her mothers, the scartlet satin reached down to the floor, her heels made her the prfect height to fit. The strapples dress covered her chest but showed her shoulders, the sky blue corsage matched her eyes. Her father had mailed it to her, the family owl, Gypson, delivered it this morning. She also decided to wear her mothers pearls, she pulled her hair out of the bun and it fell down in layers to her middle chest, it had grown out almost 4 inches. The ringlets of curls complimented her tiny face. Leaving the lavatory she saw a couple students headed into the ballroom, she joined them and entered the wonderland of music and dancing. She glanced around not knowing where to go, she did not have a date, so she placed herself at a table. Waiting to see at least one of her friends.

Draco shuddered as he felt eyes on him. He glanced back at Harry and squeaked. He was looking at him? Draco glanced back over at the boy in the corner. He should be fine on his own... The slytherins face contorted into a wicked smirk and strode over to Harry. He did want to raise any suspicions. As he reached him he smiled at Bonnie, waving a hello before glancing over at the boy who lived. "Harry, good to see youve left the confines of your room and decided to join in the festivities." He smirked, glancing over at the seat across from him. He growled softly and pushed the seat out, sitting down slowly.

She blinked, her face turning a slight shade of red. She nodded a greeting to Draco and gulped down the butterbeer in her hand. She set it gently down on the table and stared at it awkwardly, nibbling on her lower lip. Merlin save her. She cleared her throat. "Uhm, You two want to, uhh, be alone?" She murmured, unable to suppress the nervous giggle that burst from her chest.

Elena shighed and stood up. It had been almost 10 minutes and nobody had even glanced her way. She shimmied her dress down a few inches, she didnt want to walk around with it bunched up on her butt. She looked around the room, then spotted Bonnie, she also saw who she was with. Harry and Draco. "Wonderful." she muttered under her breath. Those two where always going at it. She decided to save Bonnie from the mess before it started. She glided over to the girl's side and placed her hand firmly on her forearm. "Hello Bonnie, you look beautiful tonight," She complimented the girl then kissed her gently on the cheek, "Boys..." Elena said smiling. "It's absolutley lovley to see all of you."

Bonnie jumped when a hand landed on her shoulder, glancing up at Elena. She blinked when the girl placed a kiss on the smooth flesh of her cheek. She pressed her lips and looked back down at the empty glass on the table. "Oh, Uhm, hi..."

"Bonnie! Would you like to get another butterbeer," She laughed noticing the girl closing herself off, her glass was also empty. "I could really go for one myself" She smiled at her.

Harry smirked wickedly. So Draco had finally approached him. He leaned forwards, just about 5 inches from the blonde's face. "I only came down be because if I didnt youd have a fit and probly break my legs." the corners of his mouth twitched slightly as he leaned back into his chair, shoving his hands onto his pockets. The girls seemed like they wanted to leave. "Its alright, you dont have to leave."

Draco stiffened as the raven haired boy leaned closer. He smiled sheepishly and crossed his arms. "Now how would i go about doing that Potter?" he raised a brow, chuckling a bit before kicking his feet up onto the table. His was becoming quite amusing. Sure it wasnt the normal banter between them but it was still amusing.

Bonnie blinked and pursed her lips, glancing up at Elena. She didn't have time to reply, squeaking when Draco's legs were lifted to the table. She ground her teeth together, eyes shifting color to a dusty shade of pink.

"Alright Harry, However i am parched though so i will be right back. May i offer you guys anything?" Elena pffered.

Bonnie blinked and glanced up at Elena. "Butterbeer. Alot of butterbeer.." She definitely needed a few drinks before she would be comfortable. She stared at the table.

"Alright. I'll be right back." She left, walking away from the awkward situation felt good. She felt bad for Bonnie though, knowing how she felt. She couldnt control the stiuation but she felt she could allieviate it a bit. She grabbed five butterbeer holding them up against her ribs with her arms, she felt like a waitress. She walked back to the table and placed one in front of Draco and Harry, two in front of Bonnie and started sipping down the last one. "Yum," She sighed. Butterbeer was her favorite drink. She should have grabbed more.

She grabbed for one of the butterbeer's set in front of her, going it down before doing the same with the other. She nibbled at her lower lip. She wasn't much of a driver, not having more than two butterbeers ever in her life, but drinking them felt good. Made her feel less awkward. She blinked and set the empty glasses on the table.

It hadnt been long until Aiden had received the letter. He had unpacked and just 3 minutes after an owl arrived with an invitation to some bloody party at the Malfoy residence. He had never been there but his parents had. All he had to do was look for the ginormous mansion. It didnt take long, maybe a half hour. The party had already started, he was obviously quite late. The slytherin strode through the doors and approached the ballroom, following the sound of classical music. Horrid music choice.. He thought, sneering as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his dress pants. He wore plain black slacks, his usual pair of gray converse, with a black shirt and matching gray tie. He wasnt one for wearing dress shoes, they were unbelievably uncomfortable. Aiden flicked his hair to the side, entering the large room. There werent too many people there, though the first thing he saw was Draco, sitting by a rather entertained looking Harry Potter. He raised a brow, slowly approaching the table with what appeared to be food. Draco had gone all out, looked like the feasts at Hogwarts. He picked up a plate that immediatley filled with some muggle food he knew to be called 'nachoes'. He blinked, carrying it over to one of the abandoned tables, kicking back in the rather plush comfortable chair and eating one of the cheese covered chips. It was pretty good, brilliant actually. His scent slowly wavered to that of bubblegum, someone here must like the smell of bubblegum...He chuckled, shaking his head as he continued to eat the delicious muggle food.

Desdemona frowned slightly and looked at Guyver. "I agree with you. Do you know where it might be?" Her frown turned up at the corners as she asked, setting her drink down on the counter. "Let's spice this party up a bit." She chuckled a little bit as she turned to face Guyver.

Bonnie blinked, feeling a short of tug and pull feeling. She glanced up, eyebrow raised, and instantly caught the scent of bubblegum. What was that? Yum, She thought, wrinkling her nose as her face settled on a young man sitting alone and eating nachos. An odd sight, a wizard eating muggle food. Oh, how she missed muggle food. She inhaled deeply, smiling at the mixed scent of bubblegum and nachos. She nibbled on her lower lip, staring at the boy. She wanted to talk to him, felt like she sort of had to, but he seemed unapproachable, her being muggle born and everything. So she just settled with staring at him.
