History: Davin was raised in a pureblood family who instilled strong anti-Muggleborn leanings in their children. He has a sister, Amanda, who is several years older than he lives in a Mansion with his family (both parents, his sister, her husband, and their child) when he is not attending Hogwarts. He is a mama's boy and fights with his dad more often than anyone else in his family. He was homeschooled until he received his Hogwarts letter when he turned eleven, excited to finally be going off and learning real magic on his own. One year previously, he was taught how to become an Animagus from his mother, who is the head witch of the family and taught his sister in her sixth year as well. He was not much into school, only doing enough to get by but excelling in the Dark Arts and Potions. This is his last year at the school and he has yet to decide what he wants to do when he is finally set free into the Wizarding World.
Appearance: Standing at roughly 5' 10", Davin has tousled brownish-blond hair and bright blue eyes, white teeth, and is slender though he eats as much as he pleases and doesn't gain a pound. He has pale skin and is always warm to the touch.
Personality: Laid-back and funny, kind though he is an elitist as to blood type, preferring to interact with those of pureblood families unless forced to otherwise. He is lazy and will only do enough schoolwork to get by unless something piques his interest enough, and, even then, it is sometimes difficult to keep his attention.
RP Sample: Davin was waiting, once more, for his sister to send an owl back to him. He had written her the same morning about a strange dream that he had been having, and was worried enough about it that he could only find solace in her. He clicked his tongue impatiently as he looked up at the Great Hall ceiling, which was a bright blue, reflecting the warm outside. Giving up on the mail, he turned back to his breakfast and heaved scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns onto his plate, shoveling the food down as fast as he could so he could go outside and get out of the castle for a while.

Why should we allow you to have this ability?: Not only is it part of his family to become an Animagus in the sixth year, but it would prove that Davin is a strong wizard and can hold his own.
