History: Ginny Weasley is a pureblood witch who was born to Arthur and Molly Weasley on August 11, and is the youngest of the Weasley's seven children as well as the first female born in seven generations. She was sorted into Gryffindor and spent her first year being possessed on-and-off by Tom Marvolo Riddle through a diary; a.k.a. Lord Voldemort. Because of this, Ginny became a stronger woman, deciding in her fourth year to join Dumbledore's Army and fighting in the Department of Mysteries battle in the same year, the Battle of the Astronomy Tower in her fifth year, and the Battle of Hogwarts in her sixth year. In her Hogwarts years, Ginny became an accomplished Quidditch player, playing Chaser and Seeker at different times for the Gryffindor House team. Fresh out of Hogwarts, Ginny is excited to begin life and hopeful that a relationship with Harry Potter will bloom.
Appearance: Ginny has flaming red hair and brown eyes that are the same shade as her mother's. She is slender and mostly muscle from her years of playing on the Gryffindor Quidditch team.
Personality: Forceful, independent, knows what she wants and can speak her mind, though can be a little shy around Harry. Ginny is also a troublemaker, enjoying a good prank just as well as Fred and George and always up for another adventure. She fights fiercely for what she believes in, and is also fiercely loyal to those she calls friends. A fondness for cats helps portray Ginny's softer side, accompanied by a whip-smart brain.
RP Sample: Ginny sat on her favourite Gryffindor couch, a book in hand, her brown eyes soaring easily across the pages. She had picked it up from the library in hopes of finding a way to curse her ex-boyfriend in a way that wouldn't get her too many detentions. She let her thoughts slide to Harry, and soon found herself staring off into the distance. She brought her thoughts back with a slight shake of her head and pulled her red hair over her shoulder, once again concentrating on the words. She looked up when Hermione sat down next to her, making the couch move. "Help me," Ginny said, pointing out the curse in the book. Hermione just laughed and nodded, and both girls sat by the fire the entire night, working hard on the curse.
