Jacob ran a hand up and down her back as she pressed closer into him, if that was possible. He couldn't help it, a slight groan escaped his lips. He felt a stirring in his gut, and mixed emotions ran through his mind. Lying here with the the only peer who knew of and accepted his lycanthropy was a wonder in itself, and sharing such closeness with her was much better. He relished the warmth of their combined body heat. But on the other hand, his body knew what the date was. The full moon was fast approaching, and he had yet to receive his monthly bottle of Wolfsbane from his parents. If he didn't get it soon, he might have an encounter even more awkward then last month's aftermath. He wouldn't trust himself around anyone without the potion, including Elsei. Even in her Animagus form, he wasn't sure how he would react without a drop of Wolfsbane. He tried to shove his concerns away as his gut twisted more, but worry still shone through his eyes. He pulled back from the blond girl, refilling his lungs with oxygen. This time he didn't kiss here, but held her in a warm embrace, refusing to meet her eyes. He didn't want to ruin the moment, one he would do his best to remember when it came time to transform.
